Our driver and local guides were excellent. Having a plan and private driver made everything very easy and flexible. Amy and I aren't backpackers anymore! We needed comfort and a pace that was enjoyable, we didn't want to be in a different city every night, Azdean understoot that when building our itinerary.Our whole 15-day itinerary was perfectly timed, and the private luxury transport made the long drives enjoyable. Staying in beautiful, quiet Riads was a treat, not a hotel chain experience. Destinations Morocco made sure our trip to Merzouga Desert was comfortable, the Nomad experience and Gnawa music in addition to lunch with a Berber family was the highlight of our trip. Thank you to all our local guides; Khalil in Casablabca , Ali in Rabat, Hamid in Chafchaoun, Youssef in Marrakech, and Amine for being such a safe and knowlodgable driver!

This trip was a life-changing experience for our family!
Destination Morocco took us off the beaten path and showed us the real Morocco. Our teenagers were captivated by the desert landscapes, the camel trek, the two days we spent in Merzouga were incredible, we spent time with the nomads, visited the Khamlia village for some soulful Gnawa music, then the kids loved the sand dune adventure. We learned so much about Amazigh people, their culture, traditions, and we created memories that will last a lifetime.

7 Days in Unforgettable Marrakech
We were very concerned about navigating the bustling souks and haggling with vendors, wanted to avoid crowds, and desired authentic cultural interactions.Destination Morocco arranged a private riad stay in the heart of the medina, organized guided tours (Youssef was our guide) of historical sites like the Bahia Palace and the Koutoubia Mosque, and planned a private cooking class, the experience was incredible and learned so much. Azdean also included a day trip to the Atlas Mountains for a Berber lunch with a local family, we had a great time, everyone was extremely hospitable.Marrakech was even more magical than we imagined! Destination Morocco curated a perfect blend of cultural immersion and relaxation. We felt like VIPs with Youssef being with us who navigated the souks for us and helped us find unique treasures. The cooking class was a highlight, and the day trip to the mountains provided a welcome respite from the city's energy. We can't wait to return!

Imperial Cities Expedition
I recently embarked on the Imperial Cities Expedition organized by Destination Morocco, and I am beyond impressed. Each imperial city we visited had its own unique charm, and the historical sites from Fes, Meknes, to Volubilis were just amazing. Traveling in Morocco's as guests and not as tourists
Good morning, Sam/Azdean Harmony and I want to thank you both for organizing such a wonderful experience for us!We had an incredible time. Ilyas and Ahmed were exceptional. Ahmed took very good care of us on the road. Especially on the High Atlas hairpin roads. He was very kind and friendly and was a pleasure to be around. Ilyas was a terrific guide. He really went above and beyond everything I have experienced previously with other guides on other trips. He was very natural, charismatic, and informative. He was very patient with us and offered to take beautiful photos for us and answer all of our questions. He made us feel very safe and comfortable with the locals. We really appreciate his time and generosity. We loved learning about Morocco and Berber culture and hearing his stories. It really felt like we were traveling in Morocco's as guests and not as tourists (if that makes sense). The Riads were great, and the hospitality was amazing. Harmony and I would really appreciate it if you could please let the hosts at Kasbah Didis Dades know that we really appreciated their hospitality and amazing food. That was our favorite meal in Morocco (so far!). Very delicious couscous. And thank you again so much for the gifts! That was an extremely wonderful surprise for us! Save time and money and book with Destination Morocco!
I recently posted asking for recommendations for a trip to Morocco and received many responses. I followed up and spoke with many helpful guides and tour agencies, but I want to share about one person in particular - Azdean Elmoustaquim! Azdean and his wife, Khadija, started and run "Destination Morocco.” Azdean is a gem among gems - he is kindness personified. He goes above and beyond, is ethical, knowledgeable, and very well-connected. I have spent hours speaking with him and have listened to his many podcasts and read many positive online reviews. Though I will definitely post about my trip when I return (late Oct.), I wanted to share his contact info now in case anyone else is in the process of planning a trip. He will make your life so much easier. Azdean knows we are on a tight budget and has accommodated us in every way. So even if you only need a tour guide for one day in an imperial city or a driver to get from Marrakesh to Merzouga or a recommendation for a hotel or desert camp or a full guides tour from the moment you land until being dropped off at the end of your stay, he is your guy! But the best part is, you’ll absolutely enjoy getting to know him - he is lovely. He’ll feel like you made a new and wonderful friend after the first conversation!
