We were very concerned about navigating the bustling souks and haggling with vendors, wanted to avoid crowds, and desired authentic cultural interactions.
Destination Morocco arranged a private riad stay in the heart of the medina, organized guided tours (Youssef was our guide) of historical sites like the Bahia Palace and the Koutoubia Mosque, and planned a private cooking class, the experience was incredible and learned so much. Azdean also included a day trip to the Atlas Mountains for a Berber lunch with a local family, we had a great time, everyone was extremely hospitable.
Marrakech was even more magical than we imagined! Destination Morocco curated a perfect blend of cultural immersion and relaxation. We felt like VIPs with Youssef being with us who navigated the souks for us and helped us find unique treasures. The cooking class was a highlight, and the day trip to the mountains provided a welcome respite from the city's energy. We can't wait to return!
